Directions to Portlaoise by Road

From Dublin

• Take the N7 road south out of Dublin for Naas and Kildare. (Most of this road has been upgraded to motorway - M7). After about 65 km/40 miles follow the signs for Portlaoise and exit at Bypass for Portlaoise. Pass by the Prison and take the first left after the double roundabout, Timahaun Road, R426. After 2 km/1 mile follow the signs for the NCT Centre, the office is next door.

• Take the exit for the N8 signposted Cork, Midway Services, follow the signs for Portlaoise, take the first right immediately after the Midway Services entrance.Follow this road to a T Junction and turn left following signs for Lismard Business Park or NCT Test Centre. The office is next to the NCT Centre.

By Rail

• From Dublin Heuston station take a train towards Cork/Limerick. From Portlaoise station you can take a taxi to the office which is about 5 minutes drive away.
