We are also able to carry out testing for various heavy metals.

A number of major minerals/trace elements may be declared as part of the nutritional information for food labeling; these and other elements of nutritional significance are analysed for in our laboratories:

Techniques such as ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) allow us to perform multi-elemental determinations with a high degree of accuracy and speed. Analytical techniques used are primarily Atomic Absorption (AA) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).

As well as the minerals listed above, we are able to carry out analysis for the heavy metals - Lead Cadmium Mercury Arsenic Much emphasis is placed on these elements with respect to their toxicity Legislation exists  detailing maximum permitted levels within differing food types. We can advise on the significance of the analytical data that we obtain.

Results can be offered in a variety of formats including e-mail, first class post, fax and direct data transfer.
