Application: Assessment of Soils For Wildflower Planting Purposes

Landscape Package 12 (LP 12) is suitable as a basis for assessing the characteristics and fertility of soils or soil forming materials intended for wildflower planting purposes. It includes those parameters necessary to determine whether the soil is acid or alkaline, fertile or infertile, and heavy or light in texture. It can be used to aid decisions on the most appropriate wildflower mixture to sow or to assess compliance with the requirements of a landscape architect's soil specification.

Where contamination is suspected the client is referred to Landscape Packages 2, 3 & 5 or one of our tailored contamination packages.

The cost of LP 12 depends on the number of samples submitted at the same time and how quickly the results are required. See attached explanatory notes for details of the different services available. The mineralisable nitrogen determination takes a minimum of 7 days and therefore priority service is not available with this package.
