Eclipse Scientific Group becomes a member of the BSA

We are proud to announce that Eclipse Scientific Group is now an approved Food Safety Supplier to the British Sandwich Association. Eclipse already carries out a broad range of food testing and analysis for many BSA members and hope that we can be of service in the future to other food manufacturers, distributors and ingredient suppliers within the Association.

'WHAT IS THE BSA?                         

Founded in 1990, The British Sandwich Association is the trade body representing the UK sandwich industry both in the UK and overseas.

Mission Statement

As the voice of the British sandwich industry, the primary objectives of The British Sandwich Association are:

• SAFETY - To safeguard the integrity of the sandwich market by setting standards for sandwich making, by encouraging excellence in sandwich making and by encouraging the development of the industry in terms of skills, innovation and overall market development.
• GROWTH - To encourage positive growth both in the market and the Association both through the development of the organization and by promoting the consumption of sandwiches.
• COMMUNICATION - To represent the interests of the industry and members to Government and all those in a position influence the industry or factors affecting the industry.'
