A New Dairy Chemistry Laboratory Now Open at Mirfield

We are delighted to announce that as part of Eclipse’s continued laboratory investment programme, we have opened a brand new Dairy Chemistry laboratory at our site in Mirfield, West Yorkshire.

  • Fat by Gerber (Milk, cheese & cream)
  • Moisture in cheese (Microwave method)
  • Moisture in cheese & butter (Oven drying method; UKAS accredited for cheese but not butter)
  • Dry Matter and Fat in Dry Matter
  • Phosphatase in milk (A&M method)
  • Salt in cheese and butter
  • pH measurement

 

Testing will be carried out by our team of expert analysts who between them have many years experience of handling cheese, butter, cream and milk. This first-rate facility will complement the work carried out in our specialist Milk Testing Laboratory in Telford.
