LCMSMS technology used to detect carbendazim in fruit juice.
Low levels of carbendazim have been reported to have been found in orange juice from Brazil, the world’s largest producer. Carbendazim is approved for use in Brazil for the control of black spot mould on orange trees, but it is not approved for use in the US or EU. The Maximum Residue Level (MRL) set for whole oranges in the EU is 0.2mg/kg whereas it is 0.01mg/kg in the US. At Eclipse we have developed a fast reliable procedure that gives you the confidence that your juice complies with the legislation.
Using a LCMSMS procedure Eclipse can confidently quantify carbendazim down to levels of 0.01mg/kg. Fast track, even same day turnarounds are available and rates for services are negotiable based on numbers of samples and service required.
