Eclipse has bought this York based business from Genus plc.

The laboratory (DEFRA approved) undertakes comprehensive bovine milk and serum testing, including Brucellosis, EBL, IBR, BVD, Leptospira, Neospora and Johne's disease; it is UKAS accredited (No 2155) for many of the tests and also carries out forage and feed analysis.

Overall, Promar Labs' spectrum of activities complements existing interests within the Group: the business will be relocated to Mirfield, W Yorks in the near future.
