Lasalocid in Eggs

Tuesday 30 November 1999

Lasalocid, added to poultry feed to prevent birds succumbing to the intestinal disease coccidiosis, can under certain circumstances find its way into eggs, particularly if feed intended for non laying stock has been used.

The Eclipse Group tests animal feeds and foods for the presence of lasalocid and other medicinal and zootechnical additives. If you are concerned about lasalocid in eggs contact sales@eclipsescientific.co.uk.
