Eclipse Scientific Group offers an unrivalled service to our customers. All pharmaceutical testing is carried out at our accredited, purpose built facility at Ely. We offer an unrivalled range of services, delivered by a dedicated and experienced team committed to meeting all our customers’ needs, whatever their requirements.

Comprehensive Range of Services

Testing a wide range of raw materials, API’s, finished products, purified water, water for injection and waters for steam sterilisers and washer disinfectors (to HTM guidelines), the site is GMP compliant. Water and microbiological tests are also UKAS accredited. Reports are supplied in hard copy or electronic format and can be tailored to meet customer specific requirements. Professional interpretation of results is also available from our expert team if required.

Purpose Built Laboratory Facilities

Our motivated team of highly experienced and qualified scientists work at our GMP compliant facility which has dedicated laboratory areas to cover the full range of chemical and microbiological testing as well as six storage stability rooms held at standard ICH conditions. All rooms are monitored in real-time for temperature and humidity with a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data system. Purpose built on its own site, the pharmaceutical laboratory is supported in its daily operations by the group’s larger infrastructure.

Quality Assured

Quality, reliability and consistency are at the centre of everything that we do. Customers can have confidence in the integrity of their test results as we are inspected by regulatory bodies and welcome our customers to visit and/or audit us. In addition, we have our own internal, independent quality department which undertakes a programme of self inspection.

• The laboratory is GMP compliant, MHRA inspected and UKAS accredited to ISO 17025
• New equipment is fully validated and documented, (full IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Audits are conducted regularly by customers in accordance with MHRA requirements
• We participate in external proficiency schemes including LEAP, EDQM and ILPQ
• We are licensed to hold all classes of controlled drugs
